While I have nothing against slash, for the record I don't really slash Harper/Tyr. I know it's relatively common, but I'm just not a Tyr-girl. *shrugs*

When I first watched the series, I had much higher opinion about Tyr than I do these days. Now I see the way Dylan didn't give up on him and how Tyr exploited that fact and it just burns me! Argh!
There are some things it's better not to know about while you're watching an episode. Unlike series like BSG where everyone is a hero/saint and everyone a cylon/sinner ~ there ended up being a lot of redeeming qualities in even the most unlikeable characters. I don't recall that happening in this series and I'm just starting to look forward to Tyr's departure.
On the other hand, this was a pretty good episode. Dylan shows a bit more emotion than we've seen of him in the past, albeit in a "Tyr's-my-friend-let's-save-him" way that makes me want to shout at him that he's being blind. A little too light on Beka and Harper for me to call it one of my favorite episodes, but I did enjoy the backstory and the return of Freya. We also got a break from Trance and her gold-colored prophecies and vague colloquialisms - so overall not a bad episode.
